apple-toolsA few simple ways to keep the dentist away :

  • brush with a soft bristle brush in a gentle motion twice a day
  • visit your family dentist twice a year as prevention is always better than cure
  • floss between your teeth before bedtime every evening
  • don’t use your teeth as tools, they are likely to chip or break on things like bottle tops
  • drink plenty of water to improve protective quality of saliva
  • avoid eating sugary food and drinks to reduce the likelihood of cavities
  • wear a mouthguard for contact and dangerous sports to protect the teeth and supporting bone
  • change your toothbrush for a new one at least every 3 months
